Joomla! 1.5 Customization - Ninja Forge's first book released

Joomla! 1.5 Customization : Make Your Site Adapt to Your Needs (http://ninjurl.com/ninjabook) .

When I started writing this Press release, I originally had a big, fancy intro here telling you all the great things about this book and how I wrote it just to help you get ahead. But the truth is I have a confession to make.

I wrote this book because I am lazy, and want to make my own life easier.

I was tired of wasting my time, and yours, fixing the same simple mistakes on your websites day after day. Tired of you asking me the same easy questions over and over. Tired of repeating myself a million times.

I got tired of giving out fish every day. I asked myself Why can't you all just learn how to do these things yourselves? You are smart enough to do it, what's the problem?

That's when I noticed that all the available Joomla! books and reference material is aimed at either total beginners or professional coders, with absolutely nothing in between, trapping many people in that void between beginner and professional developer.

So how could you know these things if there was nowhere to learn them?

Well...

Ninja Theme Releases Second Template

A long time coming, Ninja Theme (http://ninjatheme.com/) is proud to announce the release of their February Joomla template, Lexiconia. Lexiconia is a corporate
styled theme, but is quite versatile and can easily fit into most
website types.

For eye-candy, they have also given NinjaSlide a simple yet effective style specifically for the template.

Ninja Theme launches : Who wants to design a template?

Our sister site, Ninja Theme (http://ninjatheme.com), home to the Ninja's Joomla Template club has finally come out of soft launch mode and has now officially launched. As you would expect from us, NT is a not your
standard Template Club as we have been listening to the complaints and suggestions at other template clubs and have decided to try something different that
we hope people will like.

Every month, in addition to a regular template, we will crowdsource a design which we will
then produce. What does crowdsource mean? We want community members to submit
designs, and then the rest of the community will vote on those
designs, and then we will develop the winner as chosen by the
community.

All you need to submit is a template design in a decent sized .jpg
file. If you are the winner then we will need either a PSD or,
preferably, a layered Fireworks PNG file and the NT team will take care of all the
PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript required.

We also have a nice pile of prizes for the winner. Thanks to generous sponsorship of Mauritius Connection (http://www.mauritiusconnection.com%2F)
this month, the cash portion of this month's prize will be $300 USD,
plus $500 in life memberships at Ninja...
