This system plugin adds the meta tag to your header in order to activate Google Chrome Frame on your site.

It also displays an inline or popup message that allow IE users to install Google Chrome Frame, and be redirected back to your site. Either to the same page they where on, or an menu item of your preference.

 You can choose between using Mootools or jQuery to initiate the checker after the site is loaded.

 Neither the meta tag nor the Google Chrome Frame checker scripts will be loaded if the visitor use a non-IE browser.

So this plugin wont impact load times or site performance for non-IE users at all. 

Update: fixed a problem where Chrome Frame failed to activate due to the meta tag being added after the scripts and js, and failed in xhtml as the tag was self-closing. Thanks to Byron Rode from ProThemer for the patch!
