[SOLVED] Thumbnails Not Working in IE 7 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0  
I realize this is a repeated topic, I've read other threads on fixing this, but haven't discovered why my site in particular is having trouble with IE 7 and IE 8.

My problem is that the thumbnails are not showing up at all in those browsers. I'm not actually looking at the site in those browsers, but am using Adobe's Browser Lab to ensure compatibility.

Hi mobtown,

Welcome to the NinjaForge forums

I tested in IE8 and it looks/works fine. I wasn't able to test in IE7. In any case, the thumbnails are not shadowbox and Ninja Shadowbox does nothing at all to them; it only comes into play when the link around the thumbnail is clicked.

I orginally had the photos in a table format, which wasn't working. I found that when I converted them to divs and floated them that they started appearing in IE.

I'm not sure what you mean by "the thumbnails are not shadowbox and NinjaShadowbox does nothing at all to them"? Please clarify.

Ahhh, that explains it.

Well the thumbnails are just html you've added to the page. They are not generated, put in place by, modified, or touched in any way by Ninja Shadowbox. If you uninstalled Ninja Shadowbox, the thumbnails would still work just fine.

That's all I meant by that... basically, assuring you that Ninja Shadowbox wasn't the cause of the problem with IE. In any case, that makes no difference to me and I would have gladly helped you fix it anyway
