Grab Some Loot From the Community Chest

Sometimes, for reasons beyond their and our control, an extension or project can reach a point where it is no longer supported.

• An old style of coding
• The developer has left and no one can take their place
• Based on an old version of a CMS
• Based on another project that is no longer active
• No longer popular enough to continue development
• Been completely rewritten into a more advanced or more complete extension

Or any other number of reasons.

Rather than let these projects die and rot, never to be used on a site again, we have decided to release them as a courtesy to the community. In the hopes that they may be useful once again.

People are free to use Community Chest extensions for anything they like without endangering their membership at Ninja Forge.

Even though we don't support them and won't be upgrading them ourselves, if a member makes a fix or improvement to a project or extension, then we will be happy to update the current Community Chest version of the extension, (and give them some credit of course) so others can benefit from their changes. 

We will also be willing to add, and from time to time will add, non Ninja Forge developed extensions to the Chest. These may be member contributions or abandoned projects we found that deserve to be kept alive for a while longer.

So please, help yourself to the Community Chest and if you find something useful feel free to do whatever you like with it.
