As hard as we try (and we try really hard), the reality is that there is a virtually unlimited number of different server, website and extension configurations out there, so it's impossible for anyone to release extensions that are both powerful and able to work on 100% of sites.
Many other extension providers try to keep their head in the sand about this and ignore their forums and incoming email, hoping that users with troubles will pay and go away. But having been on the receiving end of this ourselves, we feel that this just isn't good enough for someone who considers themselves a professional.
We instead are committed to meeting the challenge head on and providing a level of support unmatched in the Open Source CMS world.
As well as this, we constantly review and improve our support offerings in line with our Kaizen philosophy. To ensure that our customers get the help they need as quickly as possible.
The final commitment we have is to 'leave no post unanswered' working on an issue until we come to a satisfactory resolution. With our team working everyday to ensure that every post on our forum is
answered as soon as possible. Even letting each other know about posts
relevant to them. Many threads will even get several developers
contributing on top of any community assistance.
Get on the Forum
We don't know everything, even though we would like to think we do. So we leverage the combined knowledge of our community via our forums. This way many eyes can look at the same problem, and issues which have already been solved can be found quickly and easily.
We Make House Calls
Unlike most doctors, we are happy to head out to your site and diagnose a problem first hand. We understand that in 90% of cases this is actually the fastest way to get a resolution, so we would rather do that than ask multiple questions and try to guess the problem. If provided with a Super Administrator account, we will usually even fix the problem right there for you.
Search The Knowledge Base
Our preferred starting base for support, the Knowledge Base is a collection of questions and solutions that have been asked many times. Starting here instead of on the forum or with a ticket can often result in an instant solution presenting itself.
Grab a Ticket
In addition to the forum, Pro and Life Members also get access to
ticketed support for their sites. Tickets are given priority over forum
support and are more reliable and prompt. We still prefer that forums
are used for minor issues, so as to benefit others, but for an
emergency situation, nothing beats a ticket.
