{quickdown:179} Usage instructions+ Ninja Breaking News actually have three mode option on the module parameter, as a breaking news, as an Editor's Pick/Featured Article list oras an auto detected list of article based on a specific section/category blog page on where this module is published. + For Breaking News mode, you should set the section/category ID which you can find those from the Article Manager. - Just leave the Content Item ID parameter empty, your article based on section/category ID above will be sorted out by the article creation date, so you'll get the most recent article from those section/category. - Set the Period of Novelty Days for this Breaking News Article, of course this should be 1 (Day), but you can set to whatever number of days. - Ordering option doesn't matters because Breaking News article will always be sorted by article creation date. - the rest of remaning option will be all your choice + For Editor's Pick / Featured Article mode, you should set the Article Content item ID, leave the Section/Category ID empty. - Period of Novelty Days option is doesn't matter. - Ordering option is up to you. - the rest of remaining option will be up to your choices. + Auto-detected mode allows you to publish a list of article belong to a specific section/category based on your menu item which referred to blog section/category page. So, if you already have a structure of section and category content item, you should have menu item(s) for all your section/category blog page. Then if you publish this module as an auto-detected mode on all those page/menu item, then you will get a list of your popular or most recent or top rated article depend on your ordering option you choosed. - so you don't need to fill the Section/Category ID or Content Item ID - You only need to set the ordering option and it's your choice whether to have it as an Most read, popular, latest or other option.
