What is the story behind NinjaClicky? How come Clicky and not NinjaGoogleAnalytics, etc.? Is there some kind of implied endorsement here, like "this is just so much cooler than the other click tracking services out there that we HAD to write this little module to make it even easier"? I'd love to see more of the story on the NinjaClicky page.
Specifically, I was interested in a rather costly service that attempts to "close the loop" between PPC campaigns, site visits, user registrations, and outbound email marketing, making it trackable to the prospect/visitor, then hopefully, to a sale.
It seems like clicky does a lot of this, but if the user ultimately registers, and we know his IP at that point, does Clicky go back and update the history database *assuming* that the visits, etc. were from this user? If so, does it verify at all using a cookie or something?
Ideally, it would be cool to know...This prospect got the campaign email, which he opened, a minute later, he showed up at the web site, and spent 2 minutes on Page X, and 3 more minutes on Page Y, registered, activated, came back and made a forum post...i.e. "this is an interested prospect".
Thanks,
K
