Hello all,

Great to use this plugin but....
Installing of the NinjaXplorer went good. But when i go to NinjaXplorer i get the following report:

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/httpd/vhosts/****/httpdocs/jm/administrator/components/com_ninjaxplorer/languages/dutch.php on line 92

I got much more errorreports but they al looks the same. Something with the language.

Who can help me?

Tnx

Hi Louwrens

My apologies looks like i forgot to update the language files.

please redownload and you will find it is fixed
you can reinstall it or alternatively just upload the fixed language files

thanks for the heads up

Richie

Yesss great that works.
But unfortunatly still one more errorreport to go.
Probably nothing to do with the language.

Yes, i have the same problem.

Link to this post 04 May 08

Above zip file worked also with me, for error at fun_bookmarks.php
I also had an error when making a bookmark at internet explorer 7.
bookmarks_file_.php was not writeble.

I looked at the map administrator/components/com_ninjaxplorer/config

There was no file like bookmarks_file_.php

I used notepad to make this file and uploaded it to that folder, than making this cmod 775.

Now I can make bookmarks, so... sloved that whay.

Could be because Joomla 1.5.3 was using FTP layer for install.

Great your component! Thanks:woohoo:

Link to this post 04 May 08

Ok, installed NinjaXplorer not with FTP Layer but with this function on off and all maps with the good permissions (like map components etc..).

Than over the installation the file fun_bookmarks.php.

All was working ok than. Also bookmarks.

So for me it was importend to install not by FTP layer.:silly:

I never use IE7, but today I had too. Works fine in FF and Safari.
Ninjaxplorer doesn't seem to work for me in IE 7. I can browse, but not edit. When opening a css file or anything else, I get an error and it will not let me save. I can close the doc, but thats it. When entering the page, I get the first error that is attached. The seconds one is if I hit the save button. When I hit save, nothing happens. I have to hit the back button on my browser. I have had a few clients ask me about it and I finally did some checking today and it appers that they are right.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Dan,

did not publish a blog post yet, was on holiday over the turn of the year. Now I've to complete two modules and then I will have the time for NinjaXplorer, sorry. I think that it will last one or two more weeks.

By the way: You can see new nekkidninjas.com blog posts liked on the dashboard. :)

I have Joomla 1.5.15 installed and now i have installed ninjaExplorer component "com_ninjaxplorer.1.0.2a.zip"...and when i select this component from my control panel, a language error message is displayed:

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /opt/lampp/htdocs/joomla/administrator/components/com_ninjaxplorer/languages/spanish.php on line 92

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /opt/lampp/htdocs/joomla/administrator/components/com_ninjaxplorer/languages/spanish.php on line 92

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /opt/lampp/htdocs/joomla/administrator/components/com_ninjaxplorer/languages/spanish.php on line 205

It's appears there are any problem with the following PHP sentence: $_VERSION->PRODUCT in spanish.php file.

What is the problem? Any ideas??

Thanks!!

HI

on line 4 of spanish.php

please replace this

global $_VERSION;

with

$_VERSION = new JVersion();

Thank you very much Richie!!

Glad to hear it kketzal :)

Richie has put a lot of effort into NinjaXplorer and is currently hard at work on a new version rebuilt from scratch (with more features to boot!).

Please consider supporting him by spending a few minutes posting a review or vote on the JED.

Thank you kindly.
