Deleting & Managing Private Messages

Unless I've missed something, there doesn't seem to be a facility for users to manage their private messages - e.g. delete any of them; creating a new message and replying to a message seems to be the only option. Is this correct?

Yes, this is correct.
However, the option to delete messages will be added in a later stage.
This feature and others are work in progress at this time.

Ninjaboard 2.0 Beta is currently in development and testing stage.
It should not take that long before releasing the stable, unfortunately I can't provide an exact roadmap because it's work in progress.
