zemanta for 1.7/2.5

I'm a big fan of Zemanta.com and use the NinjaForge Zemanta plugin for my older unupgraded sites. I would love to have the plugin updated to work with Joomla 1.7/2.5. I'm willing to contribute to (pay for) some development effort.

... just short of begging...

Hi Scott,

Thanks for posting. It's good to know there is still demand for Ninja Zemanta. We'll definitely be moving it to Joomla 2.5, but it isn't at the top of the list, I'm sorry to say. We need to migrate a few of our major commercial extensions first, as that's our bread and butter and what pays for the free extensions.

I definitely get it about paying the bills. I know my contributions couldn't completely pay for the development effort, or loss of revenue from delays, but... I'd be willing to kick in some to help compensate.
