I Guess NinjaForge IS dead... or not?!

Not sure what happened here, but any faith I had in the development club not capsizing went down the tubes when I saw the thread titled "Is NinjaForge dead?" deleted. The last post was someone saying thanks to that thread they were going to hold off throwing money your way (Which is good! Thankfully people were being warned nothing was being done!)

I come here every cpl of weeks to check up and see if just MAYBE you guys decided to give us a roadmap, and I have to say i respected the fact you kept that thread up despite the picture it painted of your club. Unfortunately it seems as soon as a post is made about how he won't be paying until this is rectified and presto, the post is gone.

For shame guys, I thought after my last post maybe Daniel would pull his head out of his ass and get this shit organized and UPDATE US VIA NEKKIDNINJAS but instead the latest post remains the pricing changes, which was so important you made sure to update the blog. Roadmap for 2.5+? Obviously NF doesn't give a shit about that. If you're on the fence, you're better taking your money elsewhere.

As a Paying member, I'd really appreciate if this thread was left up to warn future purchasers the club has been derelict since the price update (March 3, 2011).

Thanks for the post.

I just want to let you know that we have never -ever- censored our members comments and feedback, and never will.

The post was removed because it was spam. After years of virtually no spam, we have been receiving a bit of it every day for over a week now. Unfortunately, the spam is not posted by bots, but humans, so we can't use programming to block it.

Every morning I come on here and delete 2 to 5 spam posts written by humans.

Since the post was made in a thread you were involved in, you obviously received email notification that included the post. Please read the email again.

I looked in my trash and took a screenshot of the email notification (the only record I have of the post). Please find it attached and note the text 'auction script' in the signature. It was emailed as plain text, but was actually a spam link.

As a Paying member, I'd really appreciate if this thread was left up to warn future purchasers the club has been derelict since the price update (March 3, 2011).

You are right I should have posted earlier Spent, but I have been dealing with my 2 year old daughter having a bad case of pneumonia for the last few weeks, and my wife also being down with the same chest infection that led to the pneumonia for our daughter.

Our poor daughter finally got over it, and went back to Kindergarten for 2 days only to come home with Norovirus and we have been trying to keep her hydrated ever since.

So my head is not quite up my ass, but I have been busy for what I hope are acceptable reasons.

However I checked out some J2.5 conversion of Ninjamonials, Ninja RSS and Ninja Flashed just two days ago, and I am waiting for the zips so we can do our final testing and QnA on them. I was going to hold the news for a post when I had them ready to release, but well it seems my bluff was called.

So while there is no roadmap blog post, things are starting to get back on track.

I am also talking with some new developers who I am hoping to bring in to replace those of us who aren't able to give our time regularly anymore.

WHAT WHAT! Hope the fam gets better soon Daniel! Sounds like when stuff happens its going to happen all at once. Excuse my rant, I misunderstood why the thread was removed.

So what is the new excuse for no progress for the last month+??

Joomla 1.5 was officially dead months ago, yet you can update a single extension to 2.5??

I'll look elsewhere for extensions. This previously great resource is obviously dead.

We should have made an announcement, but we are in the last stages of testing the following extensions on 2.5:

Ninja Multicontent
Ninja Access (Module)
Ninja Content Timer
Ninja Redirect
Ninja Modulehider
Ninja Zemanta
Ninja Access (plugin)
Ninja Explorer

I know this is just my word, which isn't worth much these days, but here is a screenie of the tickets we are working on for the last few bugs:

We also have betas out for Ninjaboard and Ninjacontent on 2.5, but we need some help testing them as both are pretty huge extensions.

We went over the rest of the extensions, and most of them aren't worth converting to 2.5 for one reason or another (redundant, better extensions out there, not needed in 2.5 etc) so we will be releasing them in a few months on github with our current ones that are there and you guys can do what you like with them.

This is so we can start to refocus on these extensions and make them as good as they can be.
