Hi Paul,

Apologies for the delay.

Thanks for your interests.

This is all work in progress.
Unfortunately, we don;t have a solid timeline yet.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Although not officially sanctioned yet, I have had 100% success using Ninja Icons v1.8.2 on J2.5.
I would have no worries using it on another site, and probably will.

Keep Smilin'

Hi Victor,

Thanks for your useful feedback on this, much appreciated.

Although it works on Joomla 2.5 for now, it still needs to be verified properly by our team.

Kind regards,
John

I've also had it running happily in 2.5 for a month now.

Not one single issue :)

Hi John,

Weert is calling....

I get this message:
Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/media/mod_ninja_simple_icon_menu/images) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/harcotra/:/tmp:/var/tmp:/usr/local/lib/php/) in /home/harcotra/domains/harcotrading.nl/public_html/libraries/joomla/form/fields/filelist.php on line 58

I use Joomla 2.5

Is is possible you change the path and use the normal joomla "images"?.
Or do I think to simple?

Hi Mieke,

Hello Weert :)
Always nice to have Dutch people around.

Regarding the error message, this sounds like a server side permission issue.
I have no solid clue where this is coming from.
May be you can contact your host and ask them if they can configure your server's Openbase dir settings.

What I wonder is if you got this message after installing or after configuring Ninja Simple Icon Menu?

No, you don't think too simple because it is indeed possible to change the path easily.
But since you are the only one until now who has reported this, I would like to know first what your host can do for you. Because it is best to eliminate warnings and errors first before I proceed.

Does this make sense to you?
Let me know how it goes and I will see what I can do for you, ok.

Please note that Ninja Simple Icon Menu isn't officially announced as Joomla 2.5 compatible, although it seems to work for others (regarding this topic).

I hope this helps.

Houdoe,
John
