Ninja ModuleHider problems

Hi,

I've been trying to get this ModuleHider to work on my site. (www.mmaentry.com)

I noticed you mentioned certain plugins can conflict with it (such as jomsocial plug), but I followed the instructions exactly to counter this and still didn't work. At most I got the title to display and blank box to appear where the module should be, but nothing else display.

can anyone please help?

Regards,
Paul

Hi Paul,

I can't see any evidence of Ninja ModuleHider on your website home page. Could you please publish it as best you can somewhere on your website and post a link to the page?

Thanks,
Mark

Hi,

Thanks for your reply...

I have set it up here: http://www.mmaentry.com/mma-blogs.html

There is a module '469' assigned and is currently in an invisible position 'content9' ...

Thanks, I see it now.

Is there any chance I could get access to the site? If so, please send a super admin username and password to supportATninjaforgeDOTcom.

If that isn't acceptable to you, please instead provide a screenshot of the Ninja ModuleHider settings.

Kind regards,
Mark

Do you think it's just a setting issue or a conflict in code?

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the access to your website.

I did some testing, and discovered that the cause of the problem is that the module doesn't appear to work when the Mootools Upgrade plugin is enabled.
If you disable this plugin in the Joomla Plugin Manager, Ninja ModuleHider will work again.

This needs to be fixed, and I have put it in the development todo list. However, I don't think we will be able to get to it for a few weeks, given our current workload. Sorry about that.

I will let you know when the plugin has been upgraded.

Please delete the account you provided to me, and don't ever post a super admin account in a public forum again.

Kind regards,
Mark

Hi Rinato,

Yes, we appear to be targeted by spammers. They create accounts and then post spam.

Spam Fighter catches some of them, but we just installed it so it will take a while to train itself to detect spam better.
