I am trying to customize the Greyboard style for ninja accordian, or create my own style. It says that you can "Choose which style you want to use, if your template supports NinjaAccordion styling choose inherit (i dont see inherit anywhere though even though it is the simple Greyboard style), if you would like to use your own custom css, choose custom (i dont see a custom option either?) and add your style to the /modules/mod_ninja_accordion/resources/styles/custom/ directory", but in Ninja Explorer these subfolders, i.e. "resources" do not show up. Is this the way it is supposed to be or is "resources" subfolder not supposed to show up in Ninja explorer? I extracted the files and edited them with dreamweaver, the zipped the files again and re=uploaded it and it worked fine, it just seams there would be an easier way to do this through ninja explorer and the Joomla CSS editors.
Thanks
Steve
Hi Steve,
I'm sorry to hear you were mislead by the incorrect descriptions. Apologies for this.
The only explanation I have is this one:
Recently Ninja Accordion has been under a make over to make it compatible with Joomla 1.6/1.7.
Therefor the file and folder structure needed to be changed, I think we have forgotten to update the description texts.
The current version files for customization are located within the /media/mod_ninja_accordion/styles/ folder.
I shall inform the dev team to look in to this matter.
Thank you for taking the effort to report back to us.
Again, sorry for any inconveniences.
Kind regards,
John
Thanks for the reply. For what its worth I am using Joomla 1.5
I do see the "Styles" folder when I extract it onto my computer, but I don't see the "Styles" folder in ninja explorer. The only additional folder that can be seen in ninjaxplorer is "tmpl" folder.
Hope this helps.
Steve
Hi Steve,
Thanks for your feedback.
I think you've looked in the modules folder instead of the media folder :)
The current version files for customization are located within the /media/mod_ninja_accordion/styles/ folder.
I hope this helps.
If you have further questions, please feel free to ask.
Kind regards,
John
