Hey guys,
you did an awesome job updating the site. Everything is fresh and the ajax effects for logging in was a nice touch. My only beef is the main forum page - instead of a drop-down could we have it like the old one where it's a list of links. Yes, I am THAT lazy and only want to click once.
I was wondering if there would be a post-mortem? Tell us the goodies you used - I'm assuming 1.6 and ninjaboard but after that I'm drawing blank... DOCman?

Thanks for the kind words :)
The site is still a work in progress, and quite a few things haven't been implemented yet.
We will definitely have a post-mortem shortly; I'll be writing a thorough blog post in the next two days.
I would love to make things simpler... could you please explain better what you mean by the main forum page? A screenshot would help. For reference, the old forums are here.
BTW it looks like your avatar got lost in the matrix. Until we add a link to edit your profile, you can fix it by clicking on your own avatar. That should take you to your profile where you can edit to upload a new pic if you want.

I figured it out:
Sometimes when I click "forum" it was sending me to /dashboard.
now it seems to be sending me to /forum.
Guess I'm just goofy,

Glad you like it Zach,
It has been a long time coming, and Mark did an excellent job. Richie and Stian also lent him a lot of help with the guts of the site.
