Beta test RC6 on j1.6

I installed RC6 on my brand new 1.6 beta 12 site, upgraded with jupgrade from matware.

So, just jumping in: I only see, in Menu Type when trying to create a menu item, user profile, under NinjaBoard. How to just create a link to the forum top level/main view? Sorry for the noobish question. Thanks!

Thanks for the report.
The links are now back up like they should.
However our menu items' forms isn't working properly on 1.6.

In order for that to be possible we need a bug I just reported fixed: http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker/?action=TrackerItemEdit&tracker_item_id=23395

If that bug isn't fixed, we'll be forced to duplicate all our forms xml and our entire forms library to work with JForm.
We have in total 40 form element types that would have to be ported.
We're talking weeks of work.

I'll keep you posted on how things goes.

Hi,

RC6 trunk now have menu items working, and we'll later make it use JForm for now, until we find a way that reduce duplicated code.
Next RC6 release will have this fixed.
