1) Can this be used on the frontend by viewers who are not logged in to submit content/articles? If so, when you set up the menu item or link on the backend can you make it place all submissions into a particular category, such as Ask the Expert?

2) Is there any way of controlling the size of uploaded images?

3) Let's say that I have a person whom I want to have access through joomla front end to manage submitted articles for only a specific category. Can I set it up so through the backend to work this way?

Hi Bobmeetin

First of all welcome to NinjaForge, let me answer your guestions

1) Yes "Guest" users can submit content from the frontend. You can also restrict this to a particular category if you so choose.

2) Images uploads are controlled the same way they are in the backend, meaning its either your editor or the media manager button, there is no way to restrict this sort of behaviour our of the box. You would need to look at 3rd party image management.

3) You can do this by usergroup not by user. They would then manage content from the articles list. simply set view & edit permissions to all for that usergroup.

hope that helps

Richie
