So here is the deal, i thought I would give Ninjaboard a try as it is looking killer! Shortly after I uninstalled it as I wasn't quite ready to work with it yet and now when I try and log in to the admin I get the following errors... An help you could provide will save me millions of hours rebuilding :)

Thanks!

Hi Josh,

Hmmm... did you install just the Ninjaboard component?

I'll get Stian to respond here.

Thanks,
Mark

Thanks for the prompt reply! Yes I just installed the NB component (there are others that I had previously installed though.) And then uninstalled it. Not sure what happened... It all installed fine, even changed my DB type to mysqli.

Thanks again for the help!

ok, so clearly something went very wrong during uninstall.
There are only two php files that is capable of causing something like this.
/plugins/system/koowa.php and /plugins/system/ninja.php

Delete those and everything should come back.

Could you explain the steps you took while uninstalling?
Did you first uninstall Ninjaboard, then System - Ninja, and then System - Koowa?

Once we know how this happened, we'll know how to fix it :)

Glad it's working Josh :)

Any chance you can respond to Stian's question about how you uninstalled it? You'd really be doing us a favour.

Thanks
Mark

Hi guys,

I experienced the same problem when tried to uninstall Ninjaboard. Though I didn't noticed the Koowa component being installed at first. I did uninstalled components->ninjaboard and then components->ninja. Then the error message appeared and I had to delete the Koowa plugin manually in order to restore the administration panel.

The ninjaboard sure looks great and I really wanted to use it, but after the installation, all the links in Components->Ninjaboard lead to empty pages :(
I tried to install it a couple of times and it was still the same. Can you give me some suggestions?

Hi Atala,

If you can wait a couple of days, beta5 should be release that should fix this and other issues in the current beta version.

Kind regards,
Mark

Heya Atala,
This happens when you uninstall com_ninja before our ninja system plugin.
I'm happy to inform you that Beta5, that got released minutes ago, solves this problem.

The problem where simply that the system plugin tried to include a file that's inside com_ninja, without checking wether it exist or not first.

Cheers,
Stian
