Ninja Content and K2?

Any plans in the works for Ninja Content to support K2 content types and dashboard? We really need K2's features, but really love Ninja Content for all of our authors to use a simple article entry interface.

my apologies for the late reply

we have discussed K2 support and it currently sits on the feature list for 1.5 (the major version after next)

permitting we finish the rewrite of the js this week for the new version (and release it), i will bump up the ticket

Seriously, no dates in the forum?

Anyway, what's the latest on this, because there is a lingering issue in K2 regarding the ability of users to manage unpublished items from the frontend, which makes it hard for a publisher to...um...publish.

This thread is from over a year ago.

A year ago, Richie had much more time to commit to extension development, and he couldn't get it done then, so I highly doubt Ninja Content will be made compatible with K2 any time soon, if at all.

Personally I would consider it a bad idea anyway. Such a massive investment in time and money (very difficult due to the large number of field types, and potential large number of fields) would become redundant instantly when K2 just fixed their front-end editing, which wouldn't be too hard for them.
