How to remove icon from icon set

Hi - i want to remove a couple of the icons from the standar icon sets. tried deleting and removing references i can find but still get text.

Hi vanillacustard,

Removing the icon will not affect the function it was applied to.... it's ALT text should show instead and it should still be clickable.

Which icon in particular would you like to remove?

hi mark - i want to remove the joomla one - it means nothing.

Can you provide a screenshot please... I don't recall seeing a Joomla icon in NB.

It's very late and I need to catch some sleep but I'll be back tomorrow and will hunt through the files then to try and remove the icon.

Sorry about the late reply. I've checked this out and the only thing you need to do is open this file:

/components/com_ninjaboard/designs/icons/ninjaboard/ninjaboard.xml

... and remove the line that mentions the icon:



<icon filename="icon-32-post_joomla.png" group="iconPost" function="postJoomla" title="NB_ICONPOSTJOOMLA" />

You can also add your icons in that file.

Ninjaboard 1.0 will likely handle icons in a much better way.
