Cannot add new board after installation

Hi, I have installed ninjaboard on Joomla 1.5 with php5, and everything seemed to go OK. Now I go to board in the dashboard and try to add a new board, but I get the following error:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /homepages/13/d37774054/htdocs/castle/libraries/joomla/html/html/select.php on line 68
trying to add a new board anyway does nothing. I tried adding a category, but that just gives me a blank page.
Any ideas?

Welcome to Ninja Forge, and I am sorry to hear you are having difficulties.

What version of PHP 5 are you using by the way?

Also, we have never seen that error before so we probably need to take a look at your site personally. Can you email a super admin username and password, as well as a link and a short message describing the problem so I can take a look. (description is to remind me who's email is for what)
