New extension suggestion for Community Builder

In case NinjaForge is thinking about what extension to do next, I have a suggestion.

There is a greatly needed update to a current but out of date plug-in for Community Builder. It is Community Builder Profile Plugin.

It lets you put a link to a user profile in content in this format: {cb_profile}Username{/cb_profile} {cb_profile=Username}...some text...{/cb_profile}

However it does not work with the latest version of Joomla 1.5.x and Community Builder. CB 1.2 RC2

And what could make it even better would be if it linked via the USER ID. An example of this would be: {cb_profile}67{/cb_profile}. That way if a User 67 changed her/his username the article would still link to that person.

It would be important that this plugin work with Sections/Categories and Uncategorized.

This would be an extremely popular plug-in to say the least!

Welcome to NinjaForge!

I'm not one of the Duergar coders but I do know that any and all suggestions are welcome. I also know that there is a list as long as your arm of projects tha are either in the pipeline or are on the drawing board. If yur suggestion makes it that far then it will have merit.

I do pity the Duergies tho', because I do know that working with CB is not a pleasing experience!
