What are Pro Special Projects?..Custom CB plugin?

Hello,
I've submitted the same question through the 'contact us' form. Anyway I'm posting it also in forums, 'cause I dunno when ninjoomla's team is available.

I'm going to upgrade my membership but first I'd like to know what are 'Pro Special Projects'.

I currently run a big community build on Joomla 1.0.13, CB 1.1 and vBulletin 3.6.8 (bridged with Elearningforce's bridge).

Let's say I'd like to have a CB plugin which would allow members to see their earned vbcredits (vbcredits.com). Dunno if this would be a tab or just a new field in members' profiles.

Same for an hack which completely disables vbulletin's profiles so the only profiles would be the CB's ones.

Do you think these kind of hacks would be personal projects? Or they could fit the ' Pro Special Projects' category if also other ninjoomla's members are looking for the same hacks?

PS: May I use ninjoomla's modules in more than one website? I'd like to use them in 2 websites I own.

I hope to have a reply soon. I'm looking forward to pump up my members' profiles with Jspaces!

sorry for the late reply.

Special projects, are things we feel will help you create a more professional website, for instance Ninja Join Now is a special project as it specificly helps you direct your users towards specific parts of your site, whats sometimes refered to as a "call to action"

If there is sufficient need for a component/module to be built, that we feel is valuable to all our customers then we will surely consider creating it and releasing it.

however if the extension is considered to be specific to a certain user, then this would be what we class as custom work.

and yes, you can use NJ extensions on as many websites as you like

I'm looking forward to update my NJ membership 'cause I really trust NJ. I've always appreciated GollumX (aka marika) 's posts in RT forum and Ricardo's helpful replies & tips in TP forum. The only thing is I'm undecided which membership will fit my needs.

Basically if there would be a bunch of pro-members interested in hack/plugin I'd like to be done, this would be a Pro-Special project?

But do I have to add my domains in my NJ's control panel? I don't see any field to put "my domains". Do the modules come with callbacks to NJ website? Otherwise how can you control which websites are allowed to use the NJ's pro modules?

Hi Sunset Driver,

I also answered your contact form question but I will repeat it here as others may be interested.

1. You can use NJ products on as many sites as you like
2. There are no callbacks, no registering sites or anything like that
3. Accounts limit what you have download access to, nothing more.

We don't like limiting our customers or trying to milk them for every cent we can get by making them one domain installs. It's one price, unlimited sites.

As for your extensions request. If you could get a lot of other members to support a request for it then we would look into doing it as a club extension.

But as it stands it would have to be a custom job. I would probably throw in a membership with it though for free.
