Hi all,
I have set up ninjaboard but it does not look like any of the examples I have seen.
Theres no wrapping or top menu.
Any ideas on the problems? I have gone through the backend and cant find anything to fix it.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Bobby
Hi Bobby78,
Your site is breaking Ninjaboard CSS and jquery files. To fix that, turn on SEF URL's with mod_rewrite. Enable that in your Joomla Global Configuration, and then rename the htaccess.txt file in your site root to .htaccess
This will remove the ugly /index.php/ from your URL's, and fix Ninjaboard at the same time.
Kind regards,
Mark
Hi Mark,
Brilliant !!
Thank you very much for your help.
Bobby
You're welcome, Bobby :)
Have a good day.
Hello,
I'm having the same problem - both SEF URL's and mod_rewrite are enabled (were already enabled in Global configuration, so I did not need to enable them).
Where do I find htaccess.txt file?
Thanks & Have a Great Day!
Angela
ps:
Ninjaboard Quickpanel does not have any menus.
Hi Angela,
Apologies for the delay.
The htaccess.txt file is usually located in the root folder of your Joomla installation.
i.e.
/home/user-account/domains/your-domain/public_html/your-joomla-installation-dir/
or
http://your-domain/your-joomla-site/
If there's no htaccess.txt file then download the latest Joomla version and retrieve it from the package or update your Joomla version.
Note: the htaccess.txt file is a standard Joomla file and comes with the installation of Joomla.
Ninjaboard Quickpanel does not have any menus.
Can you please tell me what Joomla version and what Ninjaboard version you use?
I'm not sure what you mean.
Also, could you provide a link to the site in question so we can check out the problem.
Thanks.
Let us know how it goes.
Kind regards,
John
