RSS Feed Blank - none of my articles showing

Hi there,

My feeds created by Ninja RSS Syndicator all appear to be blank. I've installed the component about a year ago, and it worked fine. In last two days it stopped working. Obviously I've many articles in my feeds that I've wrote over the long period of the year. None are showing in any of the feeds.

It's empty. None articles are showing in IE or Firefox or Safari browser. Furthermore, I use twitterfeed.com to publish my rss to facebook, twitter and linkedin. Now I can't RSS since Ninja RSS Syndicator stop working.

I'd appreciate any help, anyone?

setting for my first two feeds. Rest are pretty much configured the same way.

Hi Kvetka,

Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

Did you change the sections and/or categories for the articles the last two days?
Or where there other changes throughout your site, like articles are probably moved, renamed sections/categories and such?

If so, please check the settings for the feed and re-adjust where needed.
Otherwise try to reinstall Ninja RSS Syndicator.
Also, check if you have other feedcreators installed that might be conflicting with Ninja RSS.

Hello John, and thank you for your response.

My articles, categories and sections have not changed. They have been the same in the past year.

The only change I've done to site and to my articles is - I've added / inserted adsense html codes into the articles.

I've also reinstalled Ninja RSS Syndicator two times It didn't help.

I also deleted all feeds, and made up new ones - but the same problem is happening. The RSS feeds are not working.

I don't have any other feed creators. I've only been using your feed creator.

I don't know what to do. RSS Syndicator is not working anymore.

What happens if you remove those adsense html codes from the articles?
Does the feed work then?

I checked this feed of yours:

with the online feed validator, and it says that it's not valid and contains several errors.

It looks like to me that those adsense html codes aren't accepted in this feed, how odd it may be.

The other feeds from your first post seem to be correct but holding no content.
However, there are some recommendations given when checked with the feed validator.

Try to check them yourself and see if the results of the validator looks familiar to you.

Hello John,

I've asked my server people to restore my site to an older version - few weeks back when my feed was working. And so they did.

Of course I had to add adsense html code back to the articles, since my site was re-set to older version that didn't have adsense yet.

Strange thing is - the nija feed syndicator is now working, and I never figured out what was the issue before. It doesn't apppear that it was adsense, because I've re-added it again into my articles. So I don't know why the feed was not working, but I'm glad it is working now.

Having said that - the ninja feed syndicator is not working fully.

The RSS 2 is working fine

But the atom feed is still not working.

I guess 1 out 2 isn't bad. But it would be nice if Atom feed was working as well, because some blog web-sites only accept ATOM feed code only.

Got the atom working now, I've selected within the list of my article categories also the the field "no selection". My oversight. Now that I've removed it Atom feed works just fine.

Again not sure what was the issue before, but restoring my site to an older version when feeds used to work, helped :) All feeds RSS and Atom work fine now.

Hi Kvetka,

Apologies for the late response.

I'm glad to hear it works fine now.
Although I'm not quite sure why it didn't work in the first place, before the restoring.
Could be a PHP version issue as I experienced this with other extensions, but still not sure.
Usually you can find related errors in the error log of your server or in Joomla's error log.
