Is there a way to find the table in the DB so i can change the encoding of the text to utf8 ?

Thank you!

Hi GilMelamood,

I just wonder why you have to change this?
Normally this isn't necessary, especially when you have Ninja Simple Icon Menu installed.
This is one of the easiest and simplest extension we have and certainly doesn't touch the database collation (as far as I know).

I think it's better to contact your host about this matter because it is too risky for us to guide you through.
Any host has proper documentation about the steps to take.

Usually you can change the encoding/collation for all tables on the general page (localhost) of the database under the Collation option.
Or when the database itself is selected, yo can change this under the Operations tab.

Note: You have to un-install an extension first and reinstall again after changing the database collation in order to have effect.

But, please contact your host first in case you don't have much experience with modifying a database!!!

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,
John
