Create a file that opens a website

I am looking to create a file using Ninja Xplorer that when selected will open a website in a new browser.

Reason for this is I want the file to appear in a File List module, alongside files like PDF and DOC. Not sure whether this can be created in the Ninja Xplorer editor or not.

Thanks for any help you can provide
Andrew

Hi Andrew,

I'm not sure what you mean.

NinjaXplorer is just a file manager and editor. You can create a file, and in that file type or paste in whatever you want.

Cheers,
Mark

Hi again,

If I understand correctly, you want this file to redirect the user to another URL.... if so... then just make sure it's a html file and give it a meta redirect.

To do that, use this as the content of the html file:

<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="2;url=http://ninjaforge.com/">
</head>
<body></body
</html>

The "2" is the number of seconds before the user is redirected. You can also add text to the <body> of the file, eg:

<p>Please wait, you are getting redirected.</p>

Hope that helps.

Cheers,
mark
