Pricing and membership changes

Thanks, good question.

All memberships currently active will always be so.

A person who has a Silver ($10/mnth) membership now, will continue to have the Silver membership for as long as they continue to renew their membership (at the original $10/mnth), even though we will no longer be selling Silver memberships. Same applies for current Gold members. They will be renamed to "Developer Members", but they will always only have to pay what they pay now ($60), not the new price, which is more than double.

To answer your specific question, Lifetime members will be members here for as long as Ninja Forge exists. We're just going to stop *selling* Lifetime memberships.

NinjaTheme died because it didn't make enough money to pay for itself... ie. I had to keep doing other work to survive, and I was eventually stretched too thin. It was my baby, and I failed.

When NinjaTheme was put offline, the plan was to bring all the themes over to NinjaForge and provide them to everyone who had a Gold or higher membership. Again, I never got around to it, due to lack of time and money.

In a little under 48hrs from now, this site will go into read-only mode. Users will be able to log in, download extensions, and browse the forum, but won't be able to post on it. 48hrs after that (if all goes well), we will launch our new site.

Once that is done, I will turn my attention to our templates. I hope to put them up here, then migrate them to j1.6, and then finally to start building new templates. As a lifetime member, you will of course have access to them.
