Dear sir. Good day to you. I have Installed Ninja Simple Icons on my website it works really good on IE7 and above but in IE6 it just vanishes away module does exist as module title is shown but neither the icons nor the text is visible. I am also attaching screenshots of module for further reference. I really like the extension and would love to keep it. Please suggest some fix.

Kind regards.

Hikh85pk,

Thanks for the link.

Unfortunately a line fault has disrupted power to my entire street and I am unable to use my computer. I'm at a friends house now but I expect electricity to be restored by the end of the day and will check your website with IE6 then.

Cheers
Mark

Hi kh85pk,
My windows pc won't boot... I think the blackout a few days ago took out the power supply.

I checked with https://browserlab.adobe.com/ and have confirmed the issue... in fact our demos are broken in IE6 too so it's not just your website.

I am downloading a trial of this app which (if it works) will allow me to run IE6 on my Mac.

In the meantime, can you please try this:
Add the following to your Joomla template CSS file:

.nsi-container {overflow:visible !important;}

I doubt that will fix the problem completely, but it might give us some clues. Let me know when done. Thanks.

Hi kh85pk,

Please see for yourself: http://www.web-101.org/eng/templates/bulats/css/template.css

The CSS has not been added to that file.

Please use FTP or our NinjaXplorer to add the CSS to it.

Thanks.
Mark

Hello again,

This is the CSS you added:

.nsi-container {
overflow:visible !important;
}

Thanks. Please *replace* that with this:

.nsi-iconvert-l {
overflow:visible !important;
float:left;
}

Let me know if that fixes it, thanks.

Excellent! I'm glad it's working. I'm sorry I took some time helping you as I am on an Apple computer now and rarely have access to Internet Explorer.

I will be adding this IE6 fix to the Ninja Simple Icons package and releasing it as an update in the next day or two.

I look forward to reading your review on the JED; Thanks in advance.

Thanks again for your patience. Please let us know if you come across any other issues with the module.

Have a good weekend!
